David Farrier is a New Zealand-based journalist with an eye for the unusual. When he uncovers a series of strange “competitive tickling” videos online, he is determined to learn more about the creators.

I’m going to spare you a detailed review. You will see grown men holding each other down, tickling each other, giggling childish giggles. You will see corruption, blackmail, deceit, shame. Your jaw will drop. And then, it will drop again. And then, again.

Farrier crafts a narrative that lands well outside the bounds of where it starts, and it’s well worth watching.
